Iconic Madrid and magical Retiro Park tour. The tour will begin at our premises located on Avenida Menéndez Pelayo 9, we will do the training in the Retiro Park, an ideal place to practice on the Segway.
First of all, we will visit the ruins of the Church of San Isidoro (SXII), the Casita del Pescador, and the “Casa de Fieras”, the main building of the old Madrid zoo and which currently functions as the public library of the retreat.
We will continue towards the gardens of Cecilio Rodriguez, we will visit the statue of the Fallen Angel (the only monument in honor of Lucifer in the world and that is 666 meters above sea level), we will go to the PARTERRE (a garden in the style of the gardens of the palace of Versailles) there is the oldest tree in Madrid where Napoleon Bonaparte placed surveillance platforms with cannons during the war of independence).
We will leave the park towards the Paseo del Prado and then to the Barrio de las Letras Barrio that Remembers Madrid where the great writers of the Golden Age of Spanish literature lived until we reach the center of the city. Visiting the most emblematic places of the Downtown, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol on the way to the viewpoint of the Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral, then we return to finish our tour in the Retiro Park visiting the Crystal Palace and the large pond of King Alfonso XII .
